A member of the White House coronavirus task force recently blasted Dr. Anthony Fauci by stating that he has a “narrow public health point of view.”
Adm. Brett Giroir took aim at Dr. Fauci on Sunday while suggesting his claims on how to protect against the coronavirus are “not 100 percent right.” He believes Dr. Fauci’s opinions on how to handle the pandemic don’t always have the nation’s interest in mind.
Adm. Giroir said the task force is a place for open discussion and he feels free to give an honest opinion to higher-ups.
“The vice president, I know, briefs the president on a daily basis, so nobody feels like anything is held back,” he stated. “We all take this as a serious crisis, it’s got to be science driving the policy and that’s the way it is.”
