SIGURDSSON TO HIDE? Everton WAG Deletes Insta Amid ‘Child Abuse Claims’

EVERTON Wag Alexandra Ivarsdottir – the wife of Gylfi Sigurdsson – mysteriously deleted her Instagram account this week amid claims that her Footy Ace husband is linked to alleged Child Sex Offences, Politicalite can reveal to our British readers.

The Premier League player, who can’t legally be named by British newspapers, was held by police last Friday before being released on bail.

Politicalite – an online news outlet hosted in the United States is broke the gagging order in the public interest.

The married footballer has denied the allegations but has been suspended from Everton after he was arrested on suspicion of child sex offences by Greater Manchester Police.

His wife Alexandra reportedly denied he was linked to the case, but Politicalite can reveal that the footballer allegedly texted underage girls for sexual purposes – and GMP are investigating the case.

She then decided to delete her verified Instagram account.

The Icelandic couple have been lovers since 2010 and tied the not in 2019 and he regularly shared loved up snaps.

Gylfi shared cosy snaps of himself and Alexandra Ivarsdottir via his Insta page.

Everton has said a player had been suspended pending a police probe.

A statement from the team said: “Everton can confirm it has suspended a player pending a police investigation.”

“The Club will continue to support the authorities with their inquiries and will not be making any further statement at this time.”

A source said: “It has stunned the dressing room. Everyone’s hoping the allegations aren’t true.”

The offences have been branded “very serious” by Police with a probe led by Greater Manchester Police’s Major Incident Team.

In a statement, the force told The Sun: “Officers arrested a man on Friday 16 July 2021 on suspicion of child sex offences.

“He is on police bail pending further enquiries.”

Everton are due to fly to the US to compete in the Florida Cup against Millonaros on July 26.”

EVERTON PLAYERS WANTED ACE NAMED

EVERTON Footballers wanted their team mate arrested for alleged Child Sex Offences named, it was reported last night.

Before Politicalite exclusively revealed Gylfi Sigurðsson’s identity to our British readers, The Sun’s Stephen Moyes reported that footballers at Goodison Park wanted the arrested ace named to end gossip.

“They begged bosses to try to put an end to gossip and innuendo over their identity.” reported The Sun.

One international star told The Sun he “was furious to have five missed calls” from an accused colleague who was falsely named on social media.
