UK: Libyan migrant kills three in brutal stabbing attack (VIDEO)

British police have declared an incident which saw a Libyan migrant stab three people to death in the city center of Reading, Berkshire as a terrorist incident.

Shortly after the rampage took place at 7pm on Saturday, police were able to track down and arrest the perpetrator, 25-year-old Khaira Saadallaha.

Witnesses say that the Libyan migrant targeted a random group of middle aged men who had been sitting in the park while enjoying a few drinks, the Telegraph reports.

In disturbing video footage which shows the aftermath of the gruesome attack, three victims can be seen lying on blood-soaked grass while emergency service workers attempt to resuscitate of them.

According to reports, the knife attack left three dead and another three critically injured. As of this report, two of the injured victims have been discharged from the hospital, while the third remains under the care of doctors but is said not to have life-threatening injuries.

Craig O’Leary, the chairmen of the Thames Valley Police Federation, lauded the “swift action” taken by officers at the scene of the incident, saying that they likely prevented “more lives from being lost.”

On Sunday morning, Deputy Assistant Commissioner Dean Haydon, Senior National Coordinator for the Counter Terrorism Policing (CTP) network, said that the attack will be classified as a “terrorist incident”. The CTP, therefore, will take over the investigation from the Thames Valley Police.

Home Secretary Priti Patel has condemned the incident, calling it a “senseless” attack on people “enjoying a Saturday evening with family and friends”.

Prime Minister Boris Johnson responded to the attack on Twitter. “My thoughts are with all of those affected by the appalling incident in Reading and my thanks to the emergency services on the scene,” Johnson wrote.
